Stop Smoking Hypnosis
Smoking causes a wide variety of diseases, most of which are related to the lungs and heart including high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. Even people who inhale second hand smoke are at risk from the bad health effects of smoking. They could also suffer from the same diseases as the smokers. If you have children, you are setting a bad example as parents if you smoke. There is a high probability that your children would start smoking at an early stage.
If you really want to stop smoking, then you should do so immediately. The longer you smoke, the more bad health effects will you experience. You can stop smoking but exhibit nicotine withdrawal symptoms that could include shaking, sweating and dizziness. This withdrawal can be treated with nicotine patches or gums. After some time, you would no longer need to smoke. You can ask your family and friends for emotional and moral support since quitting could be quite difficult.
In extreme cases, like those who smoke several packs a day, quitting smoking is almost impossible. Professional medical help maybe required in cases like this and psychotherapy is often recommended. The treatment for your smoking addiction could be treated with counseling and medication. Psychiatrists often prescribe anti-depressant for patients who smoke because they are depressed or sad.
Hypnotherapy is considered to be another effective treatment for smoking addiction. It works by targeting your subconscious and altering your behavior through hypnosis. Although relatively new, many patients have already claimed its effectivity. You will probably feel the results after a couple of sessions. The treatment is relatively cheaper and less invasive.
Deciding to stop smoking will probably be one of the best decisions in your life. You will not only be saving your health but also the heath of the people around you as well as the environment. All it takes is some firm commitment and the initiative to seek out an effective treatment.

Trouble Sleeping? Try Hypnotherapy
Every now and then, I bet you have trouble either falling asleep or being able to sleep through the night. If you find that this is a regular occurrence, then you are experiencing insomnia. Living with insomnia has a definite impact on how well you are able to function throughout the day.
The chronic sleep deprivation that comes with the territory when you are living with insomnia means that you have far fewer energy reserves to draw on during daylight hours. It also affects your body’s immune system, so you can look forward to getting sick more often. Your ability to concentrate will be impacted, and you are at an increased risk of being involved in an accident while driving, at work, or while at home.
What Causes Insomnia?
The causes of insomnia are numerous and it may not be easy to get a handle on exactly why you are suffering from this sleep disorder. If you are anxious, depressed, or bored, then you may also be experiencing insomnia. Your prescription medications may be the root of the problem. (Your doctor or pharmacist can review what you are taking and advise you if sleep disturbances are one of the side effects to your medication.) It’s also likely that you will develop insomnia as part of the aging process.
How a Good Hypnotherapist Can Put You to Sleep
Insomnia is a treatable sleep disorder. You don’t have to simply put up with it. One treatment option you may not have considered is hypnotherapy.
One of the things that can happen to you if you are living with insomnia is that when it’s time to go to bed, you find that your mind won’t shut down. No matter what you try to do, it starts racing and pondering everything from a pressing problem at work to what your Aunt Sally meant by that comment she made to you at the family reunion last year. Instead of being able to get the rest that you need, you are kept up with all of these random thoughts. No matter what you do to try to stop them, they just keep coming. Does this sound familiar?
A qualified hypnotherapist can teach you how to calm your mind when you want to go to sleep. Once you have mastered this technique, you will be able to call it a day and let those concerns go until you wake up again. Your body needs regular sleep to be able to repair itself and to be able to function properly. If your mind is working overtime at night and getting in the way much needed rest then it makes perfect sense to get help from a professional to overcome your difficulty.
Doesn’t this make more sense than treating the symptoms only by asking your doctor to give you something to help you sleep? The quality of sleep you get by taking medications is not the same as a natural sleep. At best, this is only a temporary solution, since you probably don’t want to be taking sleeping medications for an extended time.
Let a professional help you to get to the underlying problem that is causing your insomnia and deal with that. In your subconscious mind, you have the power to create a positive mental picture of yourself and your life. By taking charge of your sleep difficulties and overcoming them, you can start a new phase in your life where you feel calm and confident, not to mention well rested. It all starts with you, and the key is to be able to shut off the distractions of everyday life when you need to rest.
Modern technology was supposed to make our lives better, but it seems as if all these conveniences have only raised the bar on our self-expectations. We are all trying to cram more and more into our daily lives; and we weren’t meant to live that way. Let a hypnotherapist teach you how to slow down your mind so that you can get the rest you need.

Weight Loss And Hypnosis
There are several propositions, hypothetical conclusions, and myths surrounding hypnosis and its way of treating obesity. Hypnotists claim that individuals can change their lives for the better and forever through hypnotic treatment. It is claimed that hypnosis calms down the mind. It allows suggestions and information to reach the mind and brain easily and directly without any external interference and disturbance. This probably results in a positive change due to which weight loss is possible. Most hypnotists disagree to the prevailing opinion about hypnosis that it makes individuals unconscious of what they are doing. Their counter argument is that the mind is in full consciousness at the stage of being hypnotized and is aware of what is done at that period of time. There is vehement opposition by them to the widely accepted fact that individuals are under their power or influence. It is possible for a hypnotist to make the person act according to their wishes. They claim that the mind of an individual takes control of decisions, thought processes, beliefs, and attitudes. This is reflected in actions that stimulate individuals to consciously choose a healthy lifestyle that could result in weight reduction. Most of these hypnosis weight loss solutions are sold online in audio or video packages.
However, it is important to remember that it depends on obese individuals to take conscious initiatives in order to attain effective solutions for overweight problems with or without the help of hypnosis. Individuals need to play an active role in controlling consumption of junk foods and substitute it with a balanced diet and exercise. Hypnosis can claim to be a way of gaining self-control but cannot promise effective results without the free will of an individual to adopt suggested changes.

Weight Loss Tips For the Holidays – 7 Tips From Hypnosis Weight Loss Programs
Tip # 1: Take off five pounds quickly before a big event!
If you’re generally in good shape, but you want to pare off a few pounds to look your best before a big event like New Year’s Eve or a class reunion, one of the best ways to do it is to cleanse your system. For the week before, skip the breads and pastas, eat lots of raw vegetables and salads, keeping lean protein in the mix, and drink at least eight ounce glasses of water a day. You’ll not only end up slimmer, you’ll feel 100% more energetic and healthy.
Actually, your weigh fluctuates through the day, so your best bet is to get on the scale rarely, only when medically necessary. Losing five pounds quickly can make you feel great, but it can also start the dieting roller coaster. If you’ve ever taken that ride, don’t you want to finally get off the diet roller coaster?
Tip # 2: Lose weight without dieting!
It’s a lot easier than you think. Dieting creates a habit of failure. Skip the diets and counting. Expect to eat normal, healthy meals three times a day, at most 4 hours apart.
Remember the key is exercise. Just one half hour of moderate exercise per day will burn calories – and better yet, kick your metabolism into high gear so that you continue burning calories at a higher rate. Bonuses: you’ll be doing your health a favor, too. The latest research shows that adding moderate exercise to your daily routine can help lower cholesterol, slow the progression of type-2 diabetes and improve your circulation. What’s moderate exercise? A brisk one mile walk, half an hour of dancing, or chasing the kids around in a game of tag will do it. The secret is keep it up continuously for 20 to 30 minutes at first and then add more after a week of doing it every day.
Tip # 3: Start your day off right!
Cutting calories during the holidays often means skipping meals. This unfortunately slows down your metabolism when you want it to speed up. Don’t skip breakfast when you’re looking to lose weight, and don’t go for the convenience of a ‘nutrition bar’.
Instead give your body the pick-me-up of fresh fruit in raw form, and the staying power of protein and whole grain. One of the best breakfasts you can have is a boiled egg or microwaved scrambled egg, a bowl of whole-grain cereal with fresh berries, melon or peaches. You get the lean protein that helps you stay alert and build the muscle that burns the fat, the sugar your brain craves, the carbs it needs to run on, and the added benefit of antioxidant vitamins to help it stay on track and to heal.
Tip # 4: Take high quality nutritional supplements every day.
There’s no substitute for eating a healthy balance of all foods, but it’s far too easy to skimp on the essentials when you’re trying to lose weight. Make sure that your body doesn’t miss out on the nutrients it needs just because you’re cutting calories. A good nutritional supplement contains vitamins and antioxidants so the machinery in your cells function at their peak.
A great multivitamin should contain, at a minimum, the minimum recommended daily allowances of vitamins A, B6, B12, C, E and K. While you’re at it, get out in the sun for at least ten minutes a day to help your body manufacture the vitamin D that it needs. Alternatively, much research has found that most people a low in vitamin D, so they should also take a vitamin D supplement.
Tip # 5: Eat your veggies – especially your lettuce.
But don’t confine yourself to iceberg lettuce or to salads. Darker greens have about the same number of calories and carbs, but pack a lot more punch in the vitamins and other nutrient categories. By substituting radicchio, watercress, escarole or spinach for the iceberg lettuce, you add vitamin C, riboflavinÃs, manganese and other essential vitamins that aren’t present in lettuce. Try them braised, steamed or grilled for something a little different from the usual salad.
Tip # 6 Set a positive, specific goal
Instead of thinking or talking about how you want to “lose 5 pounds,” expect to weigh the weight you want to weigh. For example, take your current weight, subtract 5, and believe that you weigh that number already.
If you have trouble believing that, then learning to use hypnosis can help you change yourself in a safe, comfortable way. A professional hypnotist using a proven method of hypnosis training with real client results can teach you how in a comprehensive hypnosis weight loss program.
Tip # 7 Eliminate the habit of failure
Weight loss failure is due to past failures. This creates a habit of failure or “failure expectancy.” You create new habits with new behaviors. One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Stephen Covey, “You cannot think yourself out of the situation you behaved yourself into!”
Only taking action on these tips will acutally produce noticable changes in your mood, weight and shape. What should you do in the case you know you should do the above steps, but you don’t? In that situation, hypnosis and other self-help techniques may be very useful to change your behavior. Unfortunately you can’t learn these things from reading a book. Only a live, individualized program of learning can produce the long term results you want.
If you have experienced difficulty with any weight loss method in the past, or you got only temporary results, find a quality hypnosis weight loss program using the McFall method of hypnosis training.

Help For Panic Attacks and Anxiety – Therapies, Treatments and Remedies
Today most of the immediate dangers our stone age ancestors experienced do not exist anymore. You can imagine that as soon as you came out of your cave your heart-rate would probably be increased in anticipation of danger, such as a wild animal or rival tribesman lurking nearby.
As a stone age human you probably survived through being able to react quickly to any sign of a threat to your existence. Your physical reaction in getting you ready to run or fight would have been an immediate release of adrenalin. Your heart beat would have increased, your breath would become shorter, muscles tenser and you would increase your view from a narrower focus to a wide expanse. You may also have started to sweat and the blood would have been pumped away from your digestive system.
Unconscious Panic and Anxiety Reactions
All of these reactions were useful back then. Unfortunately some people still have the same sort of reaction to perceived danger rather than actual danger. Logically they know they do not need to get ready to run or fight but they have an uncontrollable and unconscious response to something that they are presented with.
Panic Attacks in Lifts, Planes, Trains and Public Speaking
That “something” might be riding on a train, a plane or in a lift. It might be the thought of having to do some public speaking such as talking in a meeting at work or giving that best man’s speech. It might be a reaction to seeing a spider or any of the 1,000 or more types of phobias.
In effect they have the same reaction as stone age man but do not face the same danger. This seemingly illogical reaction is often classified as an anxiety attack or panic attack. When someone experiences such a reaction it unpleasant and can undermine that person’s confidence.
Fear of the Fear
After this they may develop a dread or fear of it happening again. In effect they get to a stage where they fear the fear. This can lead to a withdrawal from doing certain things or going certain places just in case they experience their fear. The most popular tactic used by someone who suffers with panic attacks or anxiety is the tactic of avoidance.
Unfortunately avoidance provides temporary relief only and also starts to limit that person’s life. Without help, some people find that they then develop panic and anxiety associated with other events and environments. In effect the range of the stimuli that triggers the panic increases.
Resolve Panic, Anxiety and Fears Sooner
The sooner you deal with an anxiety or panic reaction the better it will be for you and the less likely it is that it will increase. You can recover your confidence and expand rather than contract what you do with your life.
Hypnosis, EFT and Panic and Anxiety Attacks
Amongst the therapies that are used most often for panic and anxiety attacks are hypnotherapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Both of these therapies are considered to be brief therapies and help the sufferer reduce their dread and fears and recover their confidence.
